Now I know what they mean by "dog tired"...
Apologies to everyone who has visited Pentimento in the last week or so and saw the same article day after day. In my life, I have to have complete concentration in order to write anything. I was helping out some friends who are moving from Idaho to a house a couple doors away by pet sitting their dog during the day.
As you probably know, we have a cat and his behavior is like night and day from taking care of a dog in that the dog is a like a 2 year old who never grows up and needs my attention all the time. Couple that with having fibro and not sleeping well and you have a recipe for exhaustion! I'm not complaining, and I was happy to help out our friends, but now I have to play catch up with the things I need to do around here before Jim comes home from Iowa.
By the way, I am purposely not saying the dog's name because the owners would like to keep him anonymous.
My next post will be about the garden and how much it has grown since May 12th when we planted everything.
