Cookie Monster Was The Culprit

After days weeks months of doing the same thing (logging into Pogo and getting the black screen of death when I tried to open a game room), I remembered to open up my add-ons in Firefox and check for ones that block cookies. AdBlock Plus is a notorious problem, but so was another one I had that was also blocking cookies. 

All I had to do was disable that one, go back into Pogo and try to open a game room and ... Bingo! No more problems, and :::blushing::: no more mentally 'blaming' Pogo for my problem. (Sorry Pogo!) So, right now before you get distracted, go to your Firefox menu bar > Click on Tools > Click on Add-ons > Go through the whole list and one by one disable it (or uninstall) > Check to see if you can open a game room in Pogo. If you can, then you are in luck! If not, go back to the addon list and disable another. You get the idea.

Do You Netspeak The Pogo Language?

As a long time member of Pogo.com I have picked up more than my share of Pogo netspeak. To be helpful, Ms. Netiquette runs a list of terms commonly used in the chat for each game. Some of the abbreviations are game specific, such as nt for nice turkey in Pogo Bowl. One I use a lot is glng which means "good luck next game".  The one people write to me a lot is ss which is "so sorry". Hmmm...could be because I lose more often than I win... ::::laughing:::
