We planted several parsley plants last year and wintered them over in an old recycle bin on our east facing covered front porch.
I harvested a good amount of it today and after giving it a little rinse to get off the pollen, I swirled it a few times in the salad spinner to get it mostly dried.
One of the hottest places on our deck is the top of the Weber, so I set one batch out there to dry a little more. Thank goodness I remembered we have a mesh food cover to protect everything from birds and critters.
Eventually, when it gets sufficiently dried I'll dry it out the rest of the way in the microwave. It turns out great using the micro! Just a couple minutes and the leaves are dry enough for storage.
