You know what? We all need to forget about the sign the atheists put up in Olympia, and the TV stations need to stop giving air time about it. It went up in the Capitol rotunda, then it was stolen because someone objected to it. They found it in a ditch and then it was taken to a radio station. Yada, yada, yada.
The people up in arms about this need to shut up and do something useful instead. Here are some ideas:
- Help someone learn to read.
- Visit your elderly neighbor(s).
- Donate a few gloves for the elderly and/or children.
- Call a friend and let them know you are thinking about them.
- Replace your light bulbs with ones that use less energy.
- Donate or buy a coat for a child or elder who has none.
- Give postage stamps to those on a fixed income.
- Adopt and neuter a stray cat or dog.
- Give the gift of your time.
- Take a CPR course.
You get the idea. Our country is in a depression. The powers that be don't call it that for fear of scaring the daylights out of us and making our economy worse, but we are entering very tough times my friends. I am not Jean Dixon, and I don't have to be to see that it's going to get worse and everyone is going to be affected.

We need to stop looking for the negative and focus on what positive things we all can do.
