Sometimes, I have a lapse of judgement and fall into the pit of forgetfulness. And that is exactly what happened when took Blue Mountain Arts up on a subscription offer earlier this summer. Suffice it to say, this blog is not going to turn into online advice about where to shop and do business, but I would caution you not to do business with BMA. When you subscribe to their site it says (somewhere) that you are also signing up for CreataMail and you will be charged for both services. I didn't see it anywhere obvious that I was also getting CreataMail, but when I called today to try to get a refund for it, they offered me the paltry sum of $6.00. This site is a rip-off in my opinion, and if you really need to send cool, artsy, creative cards or good stationery, a better choice would be Cloudeight Smilelycons. No, I am not an affiliate for them, I just prefer their free site. You can buy things from them, and they do recommend software programs, but all in all, they are a much better site. No "hard sell", etc. So, steer clear of the mountain and head on off to the thunderclouds!
